Abstract:
To maintain a high removal rate of NOx in an atmosphere contg. excess oxygen even after exposure to a hydrothermal environment by using a specified 1st catalyst consisting of a Pt-supported zeolite (Pt-ZeO) and CeO2 and a 2nd catalyst comprising indium silicate.
The composite catalyst consists of a 1st catalyst and a 2nd catalyst. The 1st catalyst consists of a zeolite supporting Pt as a metal for a catalyst and CeO2 having ≥13.0 nm average crystallite diameter. The amt. of the Pt-supported zeolite in the 1st catalyst is >19 to <100 wt.%. The amt. of the Pt in the Pt-supported zeolite is >3.5 to <11 wt.%. The 2nd catalyst comprises indium silicate (In-SiO2) and the suitable In content is about 2-8 wt.%.
