To provide a composite component which can be used in an automobile.

A method of making a composite component for an automobile includes a step of using a die assembly for forming a composite portion including a first component portion integrally formed with a second component portion, a step of separating the first component portion from the second component portion, and a step of mounting the first component portion on a first predetermined area and mounting the second component portion on a second predetermined area, wherein the first predetermined area is a part of an inside cabin of the automobile associated with an instrument panel, the die assembly is associated with at least one die cavity composed to form the composite portion using a die casting method, and the die casting method includes filling the at least one die cavity with a casting material during one injection for forming the composite portion.
