Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce the strength even in the case a composite connector is a thin type and to miniaturize and simplify the structure of the connector even in the case a terminal part for charging a battery is installed by fitting a reinforcing metal tool into a recessed part for connection in a manner in which a thin upper wall and/or lower wall of the connector is reinforced by the metal tool. SOLUTION: This composite connector is to be stored in a mobile phone in a manner that an aperture edge of a recessed part 3 for connection formed in a housing 2 is positioned in one end face of the mobile phone. A flat type connector 4 in which a plurality of signal terminals are arranged in a plane of an array board is inserted into the recessed part 3 for connection and in the case of a flat type connector having an adjacently positioned RF terminal 5, a reinforcing metal tool 6 extended in the inner wall face of the recessed part 3 for connection from a corner part of the aperture edge in a longitudinal direction is inserted into a rectangular aperture, which is the aperture edge of the recessed part 3 for connection extended in the width direction of the flat connector 4. Consequently, the upper wall and/or the lower wall of the composite connector can be reinforced and at the same time the connector can be miniaturized.
