Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite false twisted yarn that has bulkiness, resilience, soft touch feeling, and dense feeling and excels in stretchability and processability, a method for producing the composite false twisted yarn, and a woven or knitted fabric using the composite false twisted yarn.SOLUTION: A composite false twisted yarn comprises: core yarns prepared by laminating polytrimethylene terephthalate and polyester in a side by side type; and sheath yarns comprising polyester, in which the core yarns and the sheath yarns are intermingled with one another. The composite false twisted yarn satisfies following characteristics. (1) boiling water shrinkage percentage is 40% or more. (2) elongation recovery ratio after 20% elongation is 80% or more. (3) latent bulkiness is 3 or more. (4) crimp development percentage (CR) is 5% or more and 25% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
