PURPOSE: To obtain a composite resin pipe with only slight variation in dimensional accuracy, and to provide a method for molding a composite hybrid prepreg for producing the composite resin pipe, capable of giving the lightweight molded product significantly reduced in uneven wall thickness and warpage, prevented from wrinkle development and suppressed in weight increment to ≤5% as well as having both high rigidity and mechanical strength.
CONSTITUTION: This composite hybrid prepreg 1 is such that a backing material 4 stands integrally laminated on a unidirectionally fiber-reinforced prepreg 2 produced by impregnating unidirectionally arranged reinforcing fibers with a matrix resin. The backing material 4 consists of woven or nonwoven fabric comprising inorganic and/or organic fibers, being ≤20g/m2 in fiber METSUKE (FAWB) and 0.2-2.0kg/15mm in lateral tensile yield strength. And the ratio of FAWP to FAWB stands at ≥5 (where, FAWP is the fiber METSUKE of the unidirectionally fiber-reinforced prepreg 2).
