Abstract:
To provide a novel composite body capable of achieving both joining strength and easily separable properties.SOLUTION: A composite body comprises a first member, a second member and a joining layer therebetween. In the second member, at least the joining layer side is made of a fiber-reinforced resin. The joining layer is made of a joining material comprising a lepidochrocite-type layered titanate and a resin. The lepidochrocite-type layered titanate has the average length of 15 to 50 μm and the average thickness of 1 to 10 μm. The second member and the joining layer are reinforced by cross linked fibers straddling the joining boundary between the fiber reinforced resin and the joining material. The cross linked fiber is obtained by extending a part of fibers in the fiber reinforced resin to the joining material. The joining material uses an acrylic resin or an urethane resin as a base resin, for example. The joining layer can be formed, e.g., by coating the face to be joined in the first member with an emulsion of such joining material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
