PURPOSE: To obtain a composite material of a shape memorizing material deformable into a three-dimensional shape by weaving wiry materials of the shape memorizing material, such as a memorizing alloy or shape memorizing resin.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composite material obtained by weaving wiry materials 1 and 2 of (A) a shape memorizing alloy, such as nickel-titanium-based shape memorizing alloy or copper-zinc-aluminum-based shape memorizing alloy, or (B) a shape memorizing material, such as shape memorizing resin, e.g. polynorbornene, styrenic resin or polyurethane. Furthermore, plural shape memorizing alloys or shape memorizing resins, etc., having memorized shapes and shape recovering temperatures different from those of the above-mentioned shape memorizing material are preferred.
