Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title molded article usable for blood packs, by letting a cured layer of a silicone composition adhere to the surface of a molded article subjected to a low-temperature plasma firmly without using a primer.

CONSTITUTION: To surface of a molded vinyl chloride resin article is subjected to a low-temperature plasma of a gas, e.g. helium, unpolymerizable with the plasma under a pressure of 10-3W10 Torr. A layer of a condensation room temperature curing silicone composition is formed on the surface, and cured at room temperature.

EFFECT: Improved surface properties, e.g. antistatic, anti-staining properties, and heat resistance.

USE: Medical materials, composite films, and electronic materials.
