Abstract:
To provide a composite positive electrode active material which can reduce the resistance increase rate of a battery.SOLUTION: The composite positive electrode active material includes: a lithium metal oxide as a positive electrode active material; and a coating layer for covering a part of the surface of the positive electrode active material. The coating layer includes a Li element, a B element, and an O element. The mole ratio Li/B of the Li element to the B element of the coating layer is in the range of 0.1 to 0.8. The intensity ratio Iα/Iβ of the intensity Iα of the peak of 720 cm-1 to the intensity Iβ of the peak of 780 cm-1 in a Raman spectrum measurement is in the range of 1.0 to 1.5. The coverage of the coating layer covering the positive electrode active material is larger than 57%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
