Abstract:
To provide a composite of porous carbon having a sharp pore size distribution and metal nano-fine particles excellent in sulfur resistance and useful as a hydrogenation catalyst or the like.
The composite of porous carbon and the metal nano-fine particles is constituted by supporting the metal nano-fine particles on porous carbon having the sharp pore size distribution wherein the diameters of pores, which are 90% or above with respect to the total pore volume, belong to the range of a distribution width of 6 nm in the pore size distribution.
