Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a composite resin structural material with a simple operation by making the strength of the material of a specific direction high and prearrangement of a fiber which is to be mixed and a shape retaining material unnecessary, by mixing the fiber comprising an amorphous alloy having magnetic properties into resin as a base material under a state where the fiber is stretched in a predetermined direction.

CONSTITUTION: Short fibers 3 are dispersed evenly within a base material 2, a longitudi nal direction of the short fiber 3 group is oriented in parallel with a widthward direc tion of a composite resin structual material 1 and compression strength and tensile strength in the widthward direction are improved, in the composite resin structual material 1. As resin of the base material 2, for example, polyacetal or epoxy resin or fluorine resin is mentioned and an amophous alloy to be made into the short fiber 3 is constituted, for example, of cobalt.iron .silicone.boron.chrome. The amorphous alloy having characteristics such as high strength and high hardness is superior extreme ly in corrosion resistance and does not change itsfacial conditions during its manufactur ing process. Then as there is fine unevenness on the surface, sufficiently high adhesion is obtained between the surface and base material 2 and the whole strength of the composite resin structural material 1 becomes high due to mixing into the base mate rial 2.
