Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite rolling roll whose residual stress is reduced.
SOLUTION: An inner ring material which is fit inside an outer ring material of a sintered hard alloy of the composite rolling roll consists of a cast-iron part which is joined to the inside surface of the outer ring material by cast- welding and a steel part which is joined to the cast-iron part by cast-welding, but mechanically fit into the inside surface of the outer ring material without joint by cast-welding and the percentage of the cast-iron part is taken as 15-60% in the area rate counted up to the whole inside surface of the outer ring material.
