Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the title sheet which can give a smooth surface to a sheet molding compound and is useful for automobile internal and external furnishings by adjusting the filling ratio of glass fiber to be smaller than that in the sheet molding compound. CONSTITUTION:The purpose sheet consists essentially of either one (A) of a thermoplastic resin and a thermosetting resin and a glass fiber (B), is used integrated with the surface of a sheet molding compound (C), and has a filling ratio of component B smaller than that in component C. It is desirable to obtain a resin molding by laminating the sheet whose matrix is thermoplastic resin, softening the assemblage by heating, setting the assemblage in a predetermined mold, and cold-pressing it.
