To provide a regenerated cellulosic composite spun yarn having moisture-absorbing property, anti-pilling property and soft touch feeling, i.e. equipped jointly with strength and quality even as a yarn of a thin yarn count; and a fabric excellent in moisture absorption and anti-pilling property and practically usable even if it is a thin fabric by using the same yarn.
This composite spun yarn obtained by compounding the regenerated cellulosic fiber with an acrylic fiber is characterized in that the single fiber fineness of the regenerated cellulosic fiber is 0.2-2.0 dtex, the number of nep occurrence is ≤100 pcs/g, single fiber twists in fiber axis direction are ≤10 time/inch, and the acrylic fiber consists of an anti-pilling acrylic fiber having 0.5-2.0 dtex single fiber fineness.
