PURPOSE: To provide, at low costs, a composite temperature detector whose constitution is simple, whose temperature detection performance and safety protective performance are displayed with high accuracy and whose reliability is high.
CONSTITUTION: A lead wire 2, on one side, for a negative temperature coefficient thermistor 1 which comprises lead wires 2, 2' and a lead wire 12, on one side, for a positive temperature coefficient thermistor 11 which comprises lead wires 12, 12' are connected in series. Their connection part is connected to a derivation lead wire 31, a derivation lead wire 32 and a derivation lead wire 33 which are connected to the lead wire 2' and the lead wire 12', on the other side, for the negative temperature coefficient thermistor 1 and the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 11. The assembly is housed inside a stainless steel protective tube 41. Then, a gap part inside the protective tube 41 is filled with an addition reaction-type liquid silicone rubber 51.
