Abstract:
To provide the subject composition, a carboxyl group-contg. acrylic elastomer composition, capable of giving air system hoses in the form of cured products thereof significantly improved in high-temperature heat resistance and long-term heat-resistant service life.
This composition comprises an acrylic elastomer copolymerized with 0.5-2.5 wt.% of an aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoalkyl ester and 0.05-1.0 wt.% of an epoxy or hydroxyl group-contg. vinyl monomer and a primary polyamine compound or polyfunctional isocyanate compound curing agent and a guanidine-based compound curing promoter.
