PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing an electronic device comprising a metal-oxide-containing layer with high flexibility and high electric characteristics, and a composition that makes it possible to simply form a metal-oxide-containing layer.SOLUTION: A composition comprises metalalkoxide, α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, and solvent. The content of the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid to the metalalkoxide is 1 mol% or more and less than 200 mol%.
