Abstract:
To provide a composition for inhibiting the binding of a viral protein to angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2).SOLUTION: A composition according to the present invention is a composition for inhibiting the binding of a viral protein (specifically, the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2) to angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), containing as an active ingredient at least one of burdock extract, coffee extract, and tea extract. Further, a food, a mouthwash, and a nasal cavity cleaning agent according to the present invention are for inhibiting ACE2 binding, containing the composition described above.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
