Abstract:

To provide a composition for mat layer formation suitable for production of a mat-like synthetic leather having a mat surface with high jet-black property without carrying out embossing finish or raising processing and to provide a mold release sheet for mat-like synthetic leather production produced by using the composition.

The composition for mat layer formation comprises a thermosetting resin and a matting agent as essential components. In the composition, the matting agent comprises one or more kinds of organic or/and inorganic porous fine particles and the porous fine particles have 0.5-20μm average particle diameter and 1-1,000m2/g specific surface area and is suitable for production of synthetic leather. The mold release sheet is produced by using the composition for mat layer formation.
