To provide a new protein useful for the diagnosis and treatment of immune-related diseases, to provide a method for producing the protein, to provide a composition containing the protein, and to provide methods for using the composition.

There are provided a PRO polypeptide containing a specific amino acid sequence; a nucleic acid encoding the peptide, and containing a specified base sequence; and a chimeric molecule of the peptide and an antibody. Furthermore, there are provided a method for the treatment and a method for the diagnosis of the immune-related diseases using the polypeptide composition.
