PURPOSE: To deodorize and to dehydrate the sludge simultaneously and efficiently by making the emulsive composition of polymer flocculating agent contg. a deodorant processable as a liquid substance.

CONSTITUTION: The composition of polymer flocculating agent consists of 1wt% polymer flocculant, 0.05W2wt% water, 0.5W10wt% hydrophobic liquid and 0.01W 2wt% deodorant, and 0.1W15wt% emulsifier is added to 55W99.9wt% of the total. It is sufficient for the composition of the polymer flocculating agent to assume the form to be processed as a liquid having fluidity, and a water-in-oil type emulsion is preferable to satisfy the condition. The concn. of the polymer flocculating agent in emulsion is 5W65wt%. A water-in-oil type emulsion, prepared by an emulsion polymerization using an organic solvent which is insoluble or slightly soluble in water, is preferred as the hydrophobic liquid. The composition of polymer flocculating agent of the invention is diluted with water to 0.1W 0.5% concn. to be used.
