Abstract:
To obtain a new composition and method for promoting growth of plants.
The new compound and method for promoting growth of plants are provided. The method for promoting growth of plants uses degradation products of soybean cakes or methionine as a plant growth promoter. The method includes a process in which the plant growth promoter is added and the effect is characterized by shortening of main roots, increase of a root hair density and decrease of lateral roots. The method has an advantage that there are no fear in soil deterioration and hormone disturbing action, though the method has plant growth-promoting effect in high level the same as that of conventional chemical fertilizers.
