Abstract:
To obtain an optical product having a high refractive index and high transparency.
A composition comprising (a) 1-50 parts wt. of an inorganic compound containing a sulfur atom and/or a selenium atom, (b) 50-99 parts wt. of a compound to be reacted with the compound (a) and (c) 0.001-10 parts wt. of a compound for promoting the reaction between the compound (a) and the compound (b) is subjected to prepolymerization reaction for 1 minute-72 hours at 0°C-150°C to give the composition for a resin. The composition for a resin is cured and polymerized to produce the optical product.
