To provide a composition containing an adhesive component for a long sized sausage casing obtained by connecting two or more natural guts with each other using the adhesive.
The composition comprises an adhesive component for connecting the sausage casing so as to communicate their lumens to each other, wherein the sausage casing is obtained by connecting two or more natural guts having predetermined length. And the composition contains a mixture of one or more selected from a group consisting of animal proteins such as collagen, gelatin, egg protein, lactoprotein, blood protein and muscle protein, vegetable proteins such as soybean protein, wheat protein and corn protein and polysaccharides such as chitosan, chondroitin sulfate, sodium alginate and carboxymethylcellulose.
