To provide a composition for shaving, which can easily and simply be used as any places without using water when used, can improve the fitness of razors to skins, realizes deep shaving, is free from irregular shaving, and gives excellent finish and touch.

This composition for shaving contains the following (1) and (2): (1) a polyglycerol fatty acid ester represented by general formula (I) [wherein, bond number: n is a positive number including zero; R is H or a fatty acid residue; an esterification degree, namely the number of (a fatty acid residue: R)/the total number of R is 0.60 per molecule, on the average], and (2) a volatile isoparaffin.
