Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tough copolymer having a high glass transition temperature and low water absorbance, by adopting A copolymer of a specific polyimide and a 1,2-dialkylidenecyclobutane.
CONSTITUTION: A copolymer of a polyimide having two or more dienoplile groups in one molecule thereof, preferably a polyimide which is a bismaleimicle of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid [for example, bis-(4-maleimidephenyl) methane, 2,4-bism&leimidetoluene and/or 1,3-bismaleimidebenzene] with a 1,2- dialkylidenecyclobutane (for example, 1,2-dimethylenecyclobutane) is adopted.
