Abstract:

To provide a medicament for female contraception, for hormone replacement therapy, or for treating acne or PMDD (premenstrual dysfunction disorder).

The medicament is for inhibiting ovulation provided with each of the daily dosage units including: (i) a combination of ultrafinely-powdered drospirenone, and a complex between ethinyl estradiol and a cyclodextrin, wherein drospirenone exists in an amount of from 2 to 4 mg, and ethinyl estradiol is present in an amount from 0.01 to 0.05 mg; and (ii) one or a plurality of vehicles.
