Title:
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS COMPRISING PROTEASE VARIANTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016028571
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide protease variants, compositions comprising protease variants, and methods of using such protease variants and compositions.SOLUTION: An isolated protease variant of a parent protease comprises an amino acid sequence comprising three amino acid substitutions selected from among X024G/R, X053G, X078N, X101N, X128A/S and X217L/Q. The variant has proteolytic activity, and each amino acid position of the variant is numbered by determination by alignment of the amino acid sequence of the variant with a specific amino acid sequence. The variant has enhanced proteolytic activity and/or cleaning activity compared to the parent protease.SELECTED DRAWING: None
