Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions for reducing burning sensation sensed with menthol or peroxides.SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a personal care composition comprising: a) hydrogen peroxide at least approximately 0.2 wt% of the personal care composition or menthol approximately 0.5 wt% of the personal care composition; and at least one of b) an TRPA1 receptor antagonist being one of cinnamon bark oil, phloretin, γ-dodecalactone, vanillic acid and γ-methyl decalactone, and a TRPV1 receptor antagonist being at least one of isobornyl isobutyrate, phloretin and 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanol.SELECTED DRAWING: None
