Abstract:
To provide methods for changing hair color.SOLUTION: There is provided a method comprising: (a) mixing a hair treatment composition and a color change composition, the hair treatment composition containing: monoethanolamine; at least one carboxylic acid selected from citric acid and salts thereof; and at least one solvent selected from water, cosmetically acceptable organic solvents, and mixtures thereof, the pH of the hair treatment composition ranging from 2 to 4, and the color change composition containing at least one bleaching agent; (b) applying the mixture to the hair; and (c) applying to the hair a conditioning composition containing: monoethanolamine; at least one carboxylic acid selected from citric acid and salts thereof; and at least one solvent selected from water, cosmetically acceptable organic solvents, and mixtures thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
