Abstract:

To provide a compost manufacturing unit which is capable of manufacturing the compost without any load to the equipment by restraining the generation of a high concentration odor gas, and a method of manufacturing the compost.

This compost manufacturing unit is equipped with a deodorizing liquid spraying unit in a fermentation vessel to spray a deodorizing liquid in the fermentation vessel, in a compost manufacturing unit for manufacturing a compost from an organic waste which is equipped with a fermentation vessel in which the organic waste is accommodated and fermented, an air pump and an air spray unit to send air in the fermentation vessel, stirring means to stir the organic waste in the fermentation vessel, and a deodorizing unit to deodorize the odor gas emitted from the fermentation vessel. In this compost manufacturing method, a deodorizing liquid is sprayed to the organic waste when it is stirred, in a compost manufacturing method in which the organic waster is accommodated, then aeration and stirring is carried out to the organic waste, and it is fermented.
