EXAMPLE: [R-(E,E)]-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-N-[1-methyl-4-(3-pyridinyl)butyl]-2,4- decadiene amide.
USE: Platelet activating factor antagonist.
PROCESS: For example, a reactive deriv. of carboxylic acid expressed by formula III is allowed to react with a compd. expressed by formula IV to obtain the compd. expressed by formula I.
