Abstract:
To provide a method and a composition for the inhibition of the expression of VCAM-1 (vascular cell adhesion molecule 1) and for the treatment of diseases mediated by VCAM-1, including cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases.
The compound of general formula (II) [wherein, Ra, Rb, Rc and Rd are each an alkyl or an aryl; Z is hydrogen, an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkynyl, a hydrocarbon group or -C(O)-R], the salt thereof acceptable as a medicament, and the medicament composition are provided.
