Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conjugated yarn and a fabric capable of eliminating conventional defects such as hardness, thickness and irritating feeling, having flexibility, lightweight, excellent touch and no irritating feeling and useful for protectives, and the like, such as working globes, aprons and arm covers having good incision resistance and heat resistance, and to provide a method for producing the fabric. SOLUTION: This conjugated yarn is a sheath/core type conjugated yarn comprising a core component covered with a sheath component and is characterized by that the core component is untwisted wherein the core component is high strength staple having >=13 CN/dTex strength and >=177 CN/dTex elastic modulus and the sheath component is a water-soluble filament. Or, the conjugated yarn is a sheath/core type conjugated yarn comprising a core component covered with a sheath component and is characterized by that the core component is untwisted wherein the core component is heat resistant staple having >=27 limiting oxygen index(LOI) and the sheath component is water-soluble filament. The fabric comprises one of above conjugated yarns and the method for producing the fabric is characterized by dissolving the water-soluble filament in above fabric to be removed.
