PURPOSE: To reduce the weight of a compressed air supplying device in organized vehicles, and supply compressed air to a supply air reservoir in each vehicle securely in a short time with a small pressure loss.
CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is supplied from a compressor 1 provided on a vehicle A in part of organized vehicles to a main air reservoir 3 of the vehicle A, the compressed air is supplied from the main air reservoir of the vehicle A to a supply air reservoir 5 in each vehicle, and pressure accumulation is performed securely in a short time by setting a set lower limit pressure to start the compressor 1 at a higher value than conventional for supplying compressed air to the main air reservoir 3. Before a set upper limit pressure to stop the compressor 1, compressed air supply capacity of the compressor 1 is reduced to accumulate pressure at the main air reservoir 3, thereby pressure gradient between the main air reservoir 3 and the supply air reservoir 5 is reduced.
