Abstract:
To provide a compression device capable of relatively moving two members which are arranged coaxially with each other and movable to each other only with high pressure in the axial direction.
The compression device comprises one fixed compression plate, one compression plate which is guided by a hydraulic cylinder axially movable in relation to the fixed compression plate, and an insert arranged around a member to be compressed. The insert is held in a closed state by a press closing door, and the press closing door is screwed to a movable part of the compression device. The hydraulic cylinder is arranged as close to the center of pressure as possible, and brought close to the axis of the member to be compressed.
