To provide a compression mold for wood which can hold the compression state of the mold automatically in a pressure container when a pair of molds is compressed and improve the efficiency of wood compressing work.

A compression mold for wood is constituted from a fixed mold 11a and a movable mold 11b. A lock member 23, in which an engagement part 24 is formed by folding, is fitted rotatably to the fixed mold 11a with the first spring 30 set between the lock member 23a and the fixed mold 11. When the movable mold 11b is clamped, the lock member 23 is rotated in the movable mold 11b direction by the bias force of the first spring 30. The engagement part 24 of the lock member 23 is engaged automatically with an engagement projection part 35 formed in the movable mold 11b, and the mold clamping state is held by the lock member 23.
