Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower fluctuations in pressure of compressed gas (compressed air).
SOLUTION: When a compressor 1 emits compressed air out, a control part 12 starts its PID control based on the discharge pressure of the compressed air and on a preset pressure to thus compute the operational frequency (f) thereof. On finding the operational frequency (f) falling below a preset lowermost frequency fL, the control part 12 directs a motor-operated valve system 7 to increase the opening of its motor-operated valve 9, which operation keeps an accordingly larger amount of compressed air out of the compressor 1 discharged to the atmosphere to thus lower its discharge pressure. On finding that operational frequency (f) equating or exceeding the lowermost frequency fL, on the other, the control part 12 causes the motor-operated valve system 7 to decrease the opening of the motor-operated valve 9, which operation keeps an accordingly smaller amount of compressed air out of the compressor 1 discharged to the atmosphere to thus boost its discharge pressure.
