To reduce a noise, and significantly improve productivity by applying a damping coating film composed of a vibration damping high polymer material in which a photopolymerization initiator to cause curing reaction by light irradiation is mixed, to a surface of a housing inside which a compression mechanism is enclosed.
A urethane type resin material 13 is put in a vessel 16 in which a heater 15 is arranged, and a compressor 1 is soaked in the vessel 16, and is pulled up, and the urethane type resin material 13 is applied to a housing 3 of the compressor 1. A photopolymerization initiator precured by the light is mixed in the urethane type resin material 13, and when ultraviolet rays are irradiated by a lamp 10, the urethane type resin material 13 is cured in a short time, and forms a damping coating film 14. Then, the damping coating film 14 is performed on the housing 3, and the damping coating film 14 can be uniformly formed in the housing 3 of the compressor 1 without generating a space. Therefore, a damping effect is improved, and vibration of a high frequency area can be sharply reduced.
