To provide a computed tomography system equipped with two or more detector lines which can improve a resolution without increasing a dose to be used.
The computed tomography apparatus is equipped with at least one X-ray tube (R) which circularly or spirally rotates around a z-axis to scan an object (B) in combination with a detector (D) having two or more detector lines, each of which lines has an aperture Δz in a z direction and two or more detector elements, and keeps a diaphragm of the detector to reduce the aperture Δz in the z direction of the detector line interposed between the X-ray tube and the detector, wherein the X-ray tube (R) has a focal point (a jumping focal point) which changes the relative position to the X-ray tube, the focal point alternately takes at least two positions (F1-F4) having z coordinates which are relatively different to the X-ray tube (R) during the scanning, and the scanning speed in the z direction is doubled according to the number of the relatively different z coordinates of the jumping focal points in the z direction to the X-ray tube (R).
