Title:
COMPUTER DISPLAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3702927
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to lessen the contamination to a display section surface by forming a photocatalyst film on the surface of the display section.
SOLUTION: The photocatalyst film is formed on the display section 30 of a display body 20 to preferably about 0.05 to 5 μm more particularly preferably 0.3 to 1 μm. The photocatalyst film may be directly formed on the display section 30 or may be formed by affixing the photocatalyst film onto the display section 30. While the photocatalyst film is formable by a sputtering method, etc., the methods more effective in terms of higher activity are to manufacture the photocatalyst film, more particularly a titanium oxide film particularly by a facing target sputtering method, to execute sputtering by specifying the volumetric ratio of preferably an inert gauss and gaseous oxygen from gas having oxygen molecules to 2:1 to 1:3 and to execute deposition by increasing further, preferably the throwing power to the target.
