Abstract:
PURPOSE: To gather software-level information on other nodes by discriminating a node kind according to a sign given to receive data and making a communication by using a corresponding protocol.
CONSTITUTION: Nodes 10 of computers are formed of a group of new software- level nodes where a communication by 1st and 2nd protocols are set and at least one old software-level node where the 1st protocol is set. According to a sign which is added to data received by a node 10 and indicates the node state, the kind of a transmission node where a storage means is referred to is discriminated and in the case of group nodes, the data with the sign added by a sign means 80 are transmitted by a transmitting means 68 to other nodes through a processor 30 by using the 2nd protocol. Consequently, a node gathers software-level information from other nodes without centralized control. Data from a node other than the group nodes are communicated by using the 1st protocol.
