PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a header in a different area and to transfer the header and the data of a different address space as one packet in transferring the data to a client device.
SOLUTION: This network system is a network file system constituted of one more communication controllers provided with a means for transferring the data of the plural addresses of a main storage device 420 as one packet. In this case, a server device 400 is provided with a buffer 120 inside the main storage device 420, a secondary storage device 450, a file system means 130 for transferring the data between the buffers 120, a communication control means 110 for delivering the address and size of the prepared header and the address and size of the buffer 120 to the communication controller 430 and data transferring the header and the buffer 120 as one packet and a network file system means 100. Then, the means 100 receives a file access request 880 from the client device 200 through the communication control means 110, uses an allocated buffer, the file system means 130 and the communication control means 110 and transfers the data between the communication controller 430 and the secondary storage device 450.
