PURPOSE: To make unnecessary a cursor shifting to select an action, to remove the complication of the cursor shifting and to use efficiently a screen by providing a voice input part, a speech recognizing part and a process control part at a system.

CONSTITUTION: First, a cursor control part 1 is operated, and the cursor is shifted to a position which comes to be one peak of a square. The word to correspond to the process to draw the square is inputted by the voice at the position. The voice input part 5 sends the signal to the speech recognizing part 6, and the recognizing part 6 sends a code corresponding to the recognizing result to the process control part 7. The control part 7 starts the process corresponding to the code, and executes the process control corresponding to the present cursor position. Namely, the process, which cannot be started at the present cursor position, rejects even at the time of the voice input. Next, the operator shifts the cursor to the peak of the opposite angle side of the square, and speaks the word to inform by the voice that the point is a peak, and thereby, at the same process, the process of the picture drawing of the square can draw the square on the screen.
