Abstract:

PURPOSE: To conduct proof reading without making an oversight when a character-free mark is visually checked out of a printed character block copy.

CONSTITUTION: In a computerized typesetting machine comprising an input means 1 inputting composed composition data; a storage means 3 storing character fonts; a retrieval means 2 retrieving a font corresponding to the inputted composition data in the storage means 3; and a printing means 4 printing the corresponding font on prescribed form paper on the basis of the retrieval result, a counting means 5 is provided for, per printing unit, counting the number of specific fonts that are printed when the retrieval result shows the absence of a font corresponding to the composition data. Furthermore, a count number printing means 6 is provided for printing the count number and the specific font on the prescribed form paper separately from a character block copy printed by the printing means 4.
