Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a con rod which can improve draining of engine oil flowing onto an inner peripheral surface of a large end hole and suppress deposition of oil oxidation on the inner peripheral surface of the large end hole.SOLUTION: A con rod CR includes a large end part 1 and a small end part 2 for connecting a crank shaft and a piston P of an engine. An inner peripheral surface 1d of a hole (large end hole 1a) opened in the large end part 1 is processed with boring. The inner peripheral surface 1d of the large end hole 1a processed with boring has an oil passage 5 formed in a cross-hatched pattern.
