The method is for creating a cast surface of a concrete unit mold for providing a three-dimensional pattern to dry cast concrete forming a concrete unit having a face including the three-dimensional pattern arranged in the concrete unit mold. It is characterized by including a step of selecting a three-dimensional pattern of an existing object, a step of generating data indicating the selected three-dimensional pattern, a step of creating a set of digital data indicating a face provided with the three-dimensional pattern, and a step of creating the cast surface having the three-dimensional pattern being an mirror image of a concrete unit face provided with the desired pattern.
