Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete block for vegetation capable of promoting growth of plants.
SOLUTION: The concrete block 1 for vegetation is provided with a general concrete section 2, and a tatami mat 3 attached to the front face side of the general concrete block 2. A holding body 5 for vegetation base material is arranged on the front face side of the tatami mat 3 to hold the vegetation base material 4 on the surface to prevent run-off of the vegetation base material. The tatami mat 3 is excellent in water retentive property and it corrodes and becomes organic fertilizer.
