PURPOSE: To hold the compounding amount of water with concrete ready-mixed to be prepared to the optimum value.
CONSTITUTION: A concrete mixer is equipped with a kneading tank 1, the mixing paddle 2 supported within the kneading tank 1 in a freely rotatable manner, the sampling cylinder 4 communicating with the kneading tank 1, the moisture meter main body 11 provided to the sampling cylinder 4 and a coefficient display device 12 displaying a moisture amount on the basis of the signal outputted from the moisture meter main body 11. A part of the mortar or ready-mixed concrete in the kneading tank 1 is drawn into the sampling cylinder 4 and the moisture of the drawin-in mortar or concrete not hardened is measured by the moisture meter main body 11 provided to the sampling cylinder 4 and the measured value is converted to a signal which is, in turn, outputted to the coefficient display device 12 to display the measured value. The mortar or ready-mixed concrete after measurement is pushed back to the kneading tank 1.
