Title:
CONCRETE REINFORCING STEEL WIRE SUPERIOR IN SECTILITY BY WIRE SAW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1161334
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a concrete reinforcing steel wire, by which sectility by a wire saw is greatly improved at the time of wrecking an obsolete concrete structure, without degrading various characteristics, by specifying the composition consisting of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Pb, Te, Bi, Sn and Fe. SOLUTION: The concrete reinforcing steel wire is provided with such composition as; 0.60-1.00 wt.% C, 0.10-2.0% Si, 0.30-1.0% Mn, <=0.02% P, <=0.02% (0.1% or less with Ca added) S; one kind or more from 0.003-0.30% Pb, 0.001-0.10% Te, 0.01-0.1% Bi, and 0.01-0.10% Sn; also additionally 0.0010-0.020% Ca as necessary; and the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. This steel wire ensures high strength, corrosion resistance, delayed breakdown characteristics, etc., that a concrete reinforcing steel wire should have intrinsically, and also has an improved wire-saw sectility through the addition of Ca, Pb, Te, Bi, Sn, etc.
